Dear Family,
So very sad to hear that Nick has left our world. I know that he made it a much better place for all of us. He will be missed greatly by all who knew the exceptional person that he was. Surely he is resting in the presence of our Lord. What better place to be if not with our earthly loved ones?
God Bless Always, Jo Timblin

Dear Jennie & Nicki, I wouuld like to express my condolences for Nick's passing. My daddy, Jerry Willis, always thought so much of him, as I did growing up. The Busy Bee cafe, how many years that can take us back to? You and family are in my prayers, Susan Willis Sharp

Aunt Jennie and Cousin Nikki:
Words cannot express how saddened we are by your loss. The Mayor of Morehead City will be missed greatly.
Thinking back on the times Uncle Nick was here, I am always drawn to when he played in the pool with us. Remember when he would go underwater and come up with hair over his face? He always had the one strand of long hair in the back that would be flopped over and matted down. Back then it funny. Today it's even funnier! Great times with a GREAT man!
We love you and are thinking of you.

Jenny & Nicki
May the memories of your lives together bring warm smiles through the years to come.. As a dear friend had it stated at her funeral "I am just a memory, but memories never die" and that has held so true thru the years. I was an LPN at Harborview where I met you and Nick, and as you see have never forgotten any of you because of your kindness, your dedication to Nick and your fine character. My concolences.

Our love for our Uncle Nick will last as long as our memory of him. During our lifetime we have shared Uncle Nicks smiles, his teaching us the words to'SYMI MY ISLAND",his teasing about his being "somebody" and my favorite yet, the time he had a fit about my Belly dancing costume. We truly missed all these years not seeing his red sweater and his hat walk through our door at Christmas singing Christmas Caroles.
To Aunt Jennie and Nikki, No on can ever replace the happy days and love we have for one another. You gave Uncle Nick all the love and care possible and we share your sorrow. No one who ever knew Uncle Nick will forget him. He is at peace with Yia yia, Papou and Mommy all waiting to receive him with open arms as he journey's home.
May his soul rest in peace and his memory be eternal.
Love,
His favorite niece Renée, Billy, Debbie, Sammy and Papou Sam

Dear Nicki,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad's passing, but was so impressed by the life he lead. How wonderful it must have been to have such a loving father. And, how wonderful it was for him to have such a loving daughter. May God bless you during this time of sorrow.

Dear Nikki & Family: I was saddened to learn of your father's passing. My memories of you and your mom & dad have always been warm and special. Your parents were 'always there', and were so very supportive of you. And I can still picture you and some of the other girls cheering at football and basketball games. YOu have such a rich and special heritage from your parents. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers now, and in the days to come. Fondly, Greg (and Beth) Bell.

We were saddened to learn of Mr. Galantis' death and extend our sincere sympathy to Ms. Jennie, Nikki and the entire Galantis family. Nick Galantis was a public servant in the true sense of the term. A long time Mayor, Jaycee, American Legion member, Mason, and member of the Order of The Long Leaf Pine...Morehead City has truly lost one of her "Favorite sons"! An immigrant from Greece who was proud of his Hellenic heritage and even prouder to be an American citizen. "May his memory be eternal!"

Sorry that I cannot get down for the service as we had agreed to keep grandchildren for the week.
Nick was a selfless man and did much for many. Other than his overall service to Morehead, his singlehandedly effecting the creation of midget football for our generation in Morehead was my best memory of him.
Please know that I am with you in thought if not person.
Look forward to seeing you both soon.
