OBITUARY
Frank J. Janer, 82, of Morehead City, died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
He was born on July 9, 1927 in Detroit, MI, to Francis and Anna Femppel Janer. 

Mr. Janer served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1946 and in United States Army 1954 to 1956, with a final rank of First Lieutenant.  He earned a B.S. Civil Engineering from the University of Detroit.  Mr. Janer was a Registered Professional Engineer and Registered Land Surveyor in NY, PA, NC.  He was active in Knights Of Columbus for over 50 yrs.

He married Margaret Chmielewski in Plymouth, PA on September 18, 1954.

SERVICES
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, at St. Egbert Catholic Church with the priest, the Rev. Douglas Smiley, officiating

In addition to his parents, his daughter Lisa Janer, and sister, Anna Marie Radziejewski, preceded him in death.

VISITATION
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
