OBITUARY 
Jean Dixon Peterson, 76, of Beaufort, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Carteret General Hospital.  She was born in Beaufort on April 23, 1934 to Alfred and Evelyn Hooper Dixon.  Mrs. Peterson was a 1952 graduate of Beaufort High School and a member of Ann Street United Methodist Church.

SERVICES
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, at Ann Street United Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Eric N. Lindblade, Jr. and the associate pastor, the Rev. Anne Walker Sims, officiating.  The committal service will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
