OBITUARY
Retired Master Sgt. Edmond Clayton Wallace, "Mickey", "Alcapone", 73, of Morehead City, formerly of Louisburg and Durham, passed away on Wednesday, June 16th, at home with his family by his side. Mr. Wallace was a graduate of Durham High School - Class of 1956. He attended Atlantic Christian College and Campbell University. Mr. Wallace was a policeman in Durham and one of the 1st motorcycle patrolmen. He was in the Army National Guard and retired with 27 years service. Mr. Wallace was a distinguished recruiter for the State, earning the Chiefs 50 Award 5 years in a row.
