OBITUARY 
Michael DeLisle Lyons, a descendant of one of the first five French families that settled Detroit, died on the Fourth of July.  A Navy Veteran of World War II, he served in the Pacific theater.  Michael loved his wife and children.  He was a professional engineer and graduate of Rutgers University and the University of Michigan.  He loved sailing and was a celestial navigator.  Michael was always there for his family and was much respected by family and friends.


SERVICES

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Trenton, Michigan, at a later date.

Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Vernice Cook Lyons and their children:

Mr. Lyons was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Sitzlow, his parents, Francis Edmond Lyons and Edwardine Peabody Lyons, two brothers, Richard and Robert Lyons and a sister, Virginia Long
