Jimmy Eugene McGraw, II, 44, of Charlotte, formerly of Morehead City, died Monday, February 18, 2019, at his home.
His funeral service will be held at 3:30 Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Brooks Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Conner officiating. Interment will follow the service at Gethsemane Memorial Park
Jimmy was born in Carteret County on April 8, 1974, to Jimmy Eugene and Deborah Hunnings McGraw. He and his dad owned a brick mason company here in Carteret county for many years. He received a Practical Theology degree from Christ for the Nations Institute, Dallas, Texas. Currently, he was employed with his brother as an Assistant Project Manager in Charlotte. Jimmy loved spending time with his family. He was very competitive in sports. He loved the Carolina Panthers and UNC Tarheels. He was very sociable, and never met a stranger. He loved his family and, he loved his Lord.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lewis McGraw; his mother, Deborah Hunnings Kleszczewski, and her husband, Robert; children, Jacob Paul McGraw, Marianna Grace McGraw, and Jonathan David McGraw, all of Charlotte; sister, Melonie, and husband, Patrick Walsh; brother, Michael, and wife, Megan McGraw; 3 sisters-in-law, Kimberly Ross, and her husband, Eddie, Charlene DeJetley, and husband, David, and Donna Hunt, and her husband, Tim; brother-in-law, Donald Lewis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, from 2:00 until 3:15 PM at the funeral home.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Paul McGraw, his father, Jimmy Eugene McGraw, Sr., and his brothers-in-law, Shawn Godown and Gene Godown.
